WHAT IS THE CENTER FOR CIVILIZATION?

The Center for Civilization is an international think tank aimed at redesigning current paradigms and operating procedures of contemporary civilization. In other words, we seek to change how modern society functions, while bringing to the fore the intense needs for greater equality and inclusion in global discourse. With unabashedly high hopes for humanity, we endeavor to present enlivened perspectives to work against reticent thinking and limited frameworks. Our international team works across continents and cultures, operating with a commitment to bringing greater optimism, openness, and tolerance to both our shared global community, and the cities and villages in which our members operate. And with our three initiatives—Aesir Lab, Caldwell House, and Rhizom—we are working to bring together activists, catalysts, and thinkers to implement a progressive, emboldened vision for our world.

WHAT IS OUR MISSION?

Our mission is to create a global forum of like-minded people and organizations that aim toward multi-cultural diversity, cross-disciplinary collaboration and synergistic thinking. We seek to catalyze passionate commitment to change into a network of individuals seeking better lives: no matter the gender, sexual orientation, nationality, religious beliefs, ethnic background, socio-economic class, educational level, or discipline. While our technological, post-modern society hides within it great promise and potential—too often sectarianism, prejudice and intellectual compartmentalization prove fatal to long-term thinking for our collective human future. Against such division, we propose to look beyond contemporary thought and policy to uncover deeper relationships, while establishing new connections, methods and models needed to usher in a bold, unreservedly humanistic and environmental age.

WHAT IS OUR VISION?

Our vision is to create a world that more completely reflects the simple, yet powerful idea that, "Above all Nations is Humanity."
